• Is your carpet OEM?
  We are an aftermarket (not OEM) vehicle carpet retailer. All of our auto carpet kits are custom molded to the original floor pans for each car.
• Is your automotive carpet OEM or After Market?

  We are an aftermarket (not OEM) vehicle carpet retailer. All of our auto carpet kits are custom molded to the original floor pans for each car. The automobile carpet kit is not a universal type kit, but is specifically made for the exact make, model and year of your car.

  We do offer a Mass Back upgrade for all late model cars, which will be very close to the original OEM construction. Click here to read more about the backing.

  We do not cut the holes and we ship it slightly over sized around the edges.

• Will my carpet have all the holes cut and trimmed like the original?
  No, your automotive carpet will require a little work to place in your car.
• Does the carpet come with any padding?
  Yes, all automotive carpet kits have a heavy Jute pad bonded to the bottom of the carpet in the area where your feet rest (not under the seats)
• Will my automotive carpet kit come cut exactly perfect, just like the original carpet?
  No, your automotive carpet will require a little work to place in your car. We do not cut the holes for seat bolts or floor shift, and your carpet may require slight trimming around the edges. You can read a sample set of instructions here to get an idea of how easy the installation process is.
• Will the carpet come with the heel pad attached?
  All auto carpet kits have an attached heel pad (drivers side only)
• How quickly can I get my vehicle carpet?
  All automotive carpet kits are custom made, and they are manufactured as-ordered. This process usually takes about 3 business days.
• Do you offer Massbacking?
  Yes, for almost every molded carpet.
• Can I get a sample of the carpet I am interested in?

• My car has a dimmer switch on the floor. Will my new carpet have the same dimmer switch hole?
  The auto carpet kits for cars with a floor dimmer switch will come with a Grommet and instructions for how and where to punch the dimmer switch hole. Making your own dimmer switch hole will allow you to make sure there is a perfect fit, and that the carpet is placed perfectly for your individual car.
• My car had a sound/heat barrier layer under the carpet. Does this come with the new carpet?

  This sound/heat layer is not included with your vehicle carpet kit. We do sell a replacement Heat and Sound insulation for under your new auto carpet. Click here for more information.

  We also offer an upgrade to all of our molded carpet called Massbacking. This is a heavy rubber backing that is similar to many later model vehicle carpets. To read more about this upgrade click here

• Do you have product photos of everything you sell?
  We do have photos of some auto carpets, but unfortunately at this time we do not have pictures of all of our carpets. But rest assured all products have been designed to be an exact replacement for the original equipment in regards to shape and design.
• Do you keep all your products in stock?
  We do not stock any carpet items. Every item is made to order. Most every item we sell is made within 24-48 hours from the time the order is placed.
• What items are affected by Prop 65?
  Any carpet items manufactured by ACC require this warning: WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Products

• Does the carpet come with any padding?
  Unless Specified, all automotive carpet kits have a heavy Jute pad. Most carpets have the padding bonded to the bottom of the carpet in the area where your feet rest (not under the seats). Some carpets will be made without the padding attached, but the padding will be included with the carpet when boxed. This Jute padding will protect the foot area around the foot wells, soften the floors for your feet, as well as deaden any sounds from under the car. We do sell additional Jute padding by the Yard. Click here for more information. Cut and Sewn carpets for import cars may come with a foam padding just like the original padding.
  
  If you chose the Mass Back upgrade for your carpet, the jute padding will be included, but may or may not be bonded to the back of the carpet, depending on the application. Click here to read more about the backing.
• Can I buy additional carpet that is not molded?
  Due to supply shortage, yardage is only available when purchased with a carpet set and is limited to one yard. If you order a yard of carpet without ordering a carpet set, we will contact you to cancel the order.
• Does Stock Interiors manufacture the products you sell?
  No, we are an aftermarket automotive interior product retailer. We sell products from several of the top named manufacturers in the automotive aftermarket industry including ACC, ACME, Newark, Accuform and more.
• Will the carpet come with the heel pad attached?
  In most cases your new auto carpet will have an attached heel pad (drivers side only), meaning that the pads will be sized and placed for your make, model and year of your car. Some carpets are made without a heel pad, and the listing will indicate if this is the case.
• How good is the quality of your auto carpet?
  Stock Interiors does not sell cheap carpet. We sell the highest quality automotive carpets available. Our raw materials are made at Dorsett Mills in Dalton, GA and are heat molded to the exact floor pan of your vehicle. All auto carpets are manufactured in the USA.
• What is meant by "Passenger Area Only"?
  Below are the definitions of "Passenger Area" for Cars, Vans and SUVs. If you have any questions about the coverage for a particular item, please call us toll free at 1-866-868-4577 to clarify.

  • For a Car, the passenger area is anywhere that a passenger (including the driver) sits in the vehicle. This usually is from the firewall to tucking under the cushion of the backseat on a passenger car.
  • For Vans, this is usually the front row of seating (including the driver side), from the firewall to the back of the first row of seats.
  • For a SUV, this is usually from the front row of seating (including the driver side) to the back row of seats.
• What is poly or latex backing?
  Poly back is a lightweight polyethylene adding moldability. Latex is a soft ethylene compound that adds body and flexibility to carpet.
• What is mass back?
  Ethylene vinyl acetate 40mil thick. It adds moldability, sound deadening, and insulation. To read more about this upgrade click here
• What is Essex, or Ultra Plush carpet?
  This carpet is a super plush upgrade to our standard Cut Pile. Standard Cutpile is 1/4 inch high whereas Essex is 3/8 inch high. It gives your interior a plush, luxurious interior. Essex can be specified for just about any model vehicle. It is made from 100% nylon cut pile carpet manufactured with over 40% more nylon fiber than our standard Cut Pile. It is dyed using the finest dyes available and tested for ozone humidity fading and light fastness. It comes in 76" widths and can be rubber latex or polyethylene backed.

Ordering

• How secure is your website? Will my credit card information be safe if I order from Stock Interiors?

  Yes! Our website is 100% safe and secure for credit card ordering. We use the latest encryption technology and other methods to protect your credit card information. Our shopping cart software and credit card system complies with the PCI Data Security Standard, meaning that the highest possible security is in place to protect your credit card information when you place your order with Stock Interiors. Stock Interiors has been awarded a PCI Merchant Certificate of Compliance.Your credit card information is never stored in our database, so there is no risk of having your information stolen.

• Can I cancel my order?

  We will allow you to cancel an order only before the items are manufactured (usually within 24 hours). Once the items are made, the order cannot be canceled for any reason. If you decide to cancel your order prior to the items being manufactured, we will refund your payment, minus a 5% Cancellation Fee.

• What currency do you use for your items?
  All of our prices are listed as US Dollars. If you are in Canada, the total for your order will still be shown in USD. When you place your order using a Canadian credit card, an automatic currency conversion may occur resulting in a different amount being billed to your card. This amount in Canadian currency will be equal to the USD amount shown on your invoice.

Shipping and Returns

• How quickly can I get my vehicle carpet?
  All automotive carpet kits are custom made, and they are manufactured as-ordered. By not stocking the carpets in a warehouse, you will be guaranteed that your carpet is NOT on backorder, nor will the carpet lose it's correct, molded shape! The manufacturing process will take about 3-10 business days, but during the busy seasons (and Holidays) this could take 2 or 3 days longer. Cut and Sewn Carpets take about 15-20 business days in production.
• How quickly can I get my headliner and seat upholstery?
  All Headliner and Seat Upholstery items are custom made, and they are manufactured as-ordered. This process takes approximately 15 business days for custom sewn headliners, 40 days for sun visors, 60 business days for ABS Headliner Boards, and 40 business days for custom seat upholstery. During the busy seasons (holidays/show season) this could take a few days longer.
• What is your shipping/return policy?

  Due to the number of automobile models and colors that we offer, we do not stock our custom made products. All custom products are made to your specifications (automobile make/material/color) when ordered. In the unlikely event that an item was not manufactured correctly, Stock Interiors will replace the original item with a correctly manufactured item (same year, make, model, color and material that was ordered) after the original item has been returned and inspected. We will not replace any items that have been cut, altered or damaged through use. This Product Fit Guarantee does NOT include cases when the product has been installed incorrectly, or has been cut/altered incorrectly by the installer.

  No returns will be accepted for dissatisfaction of color. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you request a set of carpet samples prior to ordering so that you can see first hand what color of carpet that you will be ordering. Custom made products, including vinyl items, made to the specifications of the customer are not returnable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for products that have been used, cut / trimmed, glued, altered, or damaged through use. A restocking fee will apply to all items returned for any reason other than shipping or manufacturing issues.

  When returning an item, you must contact us first for return authorization. All items received that have not been authorized for return will not be accepted. Shipping charges are not refundable. We will not accept any items for return after 60 days of the purchase date.

• Why do you charge a restocking fee?
  All of our products are custom made to your exact request at the time of order. We do not inventory custom made items and for this reason, we charge a restocking fee when an item is returned for any reason other than shipping or manufacturing issues.
• Does your Canadian or international shipping costs cover duties or broker fees?
  No, import taxes, duties and broker fees are outside of our control, and are not included in our shipping costs. The shipping recipient will be responsible for those fees.

Product Guarantee

• What is your Product Guarantee?

  In the event that an item was not manufactured correctly, Stock Interiors will replace the original item with a correctly manufactured item (same year, make, model, color and material that was ordered) after the original item has been returned and inspected. We will not replace any items that have been cut, altered or damaged through use. This Product Fit Guarantee does NOT include cases when the product has been installed incorrectly, or has been cut/altered incorrectly by the installer. Materials and Colors

• Will the automotive carpet be the same color as the original carpet?
  We have over 70 automotive carpet color/material options available, and many will match the original colors of the automotive carpet. You can find a page here to request an automotive carpet sample.
• What is the difference between Mass Back and Poly Back automotive carpet?
  Poly Back is the most economical and most common automotive carpet option. This is the same material that all discount carpet retailers offer. Poly Backing is a more flexible, plastic type backing that is easy to cut and fold for shipping.
  
  Mass Back is a rigid rubber backing that is the common original equipment (OE) for many late model cars. Carpets made with Mass Back are heavier and more difficult to ship.

• Will the automotive carpet be the same material as the original carpet?
  Our auto carpets can be made with a Poly Back or Mass Back. Click here to read more about the backing.
  
  We make our vehicle carpets with a wide variety of materials, including 80-20 Loop, 100 Percent Nylon Loop, Tuxedo Loop and Cut Pile. In certain makes of pre-1975 vehicles, the material can be changed!
• Can you cross-reference an original manufacturer color number with the new carpet color?
  No, we do not have the ability to match our colors with the OEM color numbers.
• Can I use loop material, even though my car had pile carpet?
  While it is possible to make your new car carpet from a different material than the original was made from, the carpet may not always look right. For example, in the newer models of most cars, the floor pans have sharper corners which would seperate and open the loops of the loop matieral. Only the older vehicle models (pre-1975) can have carpet made with loop material.
• Can I get a sample of the carpet I am interested in?
  Yes, we can send a carpet sample if you are interested in matching your existing carpet color to one of our colors. You can find a page here to request a sample.

• Will my automotive carpet kit come cut exactly perfect, just like the original carpet?
